Kazakhstan expands electronic road transport permit exchange to Kyrgyzstan

Kazakhstan’s road transport authority reported on 23 October that electronic exchange of foreign transport permits was expanded to Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Türkiye in 2026. Test exchanges have begun with Georgia.

For shippers, the practical step is to check the permit format applicable to their route with their carrier before dispatch. Electronic exchange should not be understood as removing all documentation requirements. The announcement does not specify country-by-country launch dates.
